GROUP VOLUNTEERING ABROAD IN MALAWI
Ripple Africa is able to accommodate groups of up to 20 people, providing them with a wonderful opportunity to explore our area and projects while creating lifelong memories. We can assist with organizaing airport pick-up and transportation, and groups can stay at Lowani Beach – a beautiful property on the shores of Lake Malawi with a 1640 ft lake frontage.
Accommodations are simple and include a combination of cottages and camping. At the center of the property, there is a stunning thatched building where visitors can congregate called “Robinson’s”, named after the first manager of Lowani Beach.
Getting Involved With Ripple Africa’s Projects
This trip is an incredible opportunity to gain insights into the lives of rural communities in Malawi and the work that Ripple Africa is doing. Group members will come away inspired by the experience and remember forever the area and people who touched their hearts. Group visits are limited to ensure that the experience is always special and that the innocence of the local community is not disrupted by too many visitors.
Group Volunteering Abroad – Team Building
Whether you are part of a school group, colleagues, or a corporate team – ALL will benefit from this unique opportunity to witness life in rural Malawi as it truly is rather than from a tourist vantage point. From experiencing life at Lowani Beach to seeing Rippe Africa’s projects in action to partaking in other adventures such as a safari, this trip abroad will be life-changing and create a strong bond between all group members.
Group Volunteering Abroad – See More of Africa
For groups interested in going on a safari while visiting Ripple Africa, a trip to South Luangwa National Park in neighboring Zambia can easily be arranged. Or, for groups who would like to participate in a mountain cycling fundraiser and concluding with a stay at Lowani Beach, we can help with those details and connect you with an in-country tour operator.
