Fundraising ensures our work in Malawi continues
COMMUNITY FUNDRAISING
Much of our income comes from amazing people like you, and we really couldn’t make such a life-changing difference in Malawi without your help and support. If you would like to fundraise for Ripple Africa or perhaps one of our environment, education, or healthcare projects, we have some incredible opportunities for you to get involved.

Fundraise For An Environment, Education and Healthcare Charity
We have been lucky to have worked with some amazing volunteers who, on our behalf, have organized and/or participated in fundraisers such as plant sales, bake sales, a 1960s evening event, marathons/half marathons, mud runs/obstacle races, and mountain-climbing, to name a few.
Do Your Own Thing!
Why not organize your own event? Don’t worry – we can help you all the way! Take a look at our A-Z Fundraising Ideas. Would you like to give yourself a challenge? Maybe accomplish great things on a personal level while fundraising for Ripple Africa and advancing our work in Malawi at the same time. Equally, if you are not up to a fitness challenge, then perhaps a bake sale, afternoon tea, or dinner party. Take a look at our Fundraising Pack for some ideas.
Your challenge can be uniquely yours and ANYTHING that will stretch and test your resolve. The sky’s the limit so let the creative juices flow! You may want to compete in a one-time event or spread it out over a period of days or weeks. It is up to you to decide how best to meet your goals while factoring in lifestyle and other constraints.
You can even set up your online page to use as a tool in your fundraising efforts!
Here are some of our favorites!

- Africantastic!: Why not add a bit of sunshine to those cold winter nights and hold an Africantastic Party?

- Pam’s 60 Miles at 60 Walk: To celebrate turning 60, Pam set herself a challenge to prove that 60 is not old! She combined this with her love of canal boats and walked 60 miles along the Oxford Canal.
- Kay’s Cycle Challenge: Kay set herself a personal challenge to cycle 50 miles weekly for the entire month of April.
