It’s that time of year again when Forest Conservation Committees are busy weeding and creating firebreaks ahead of the dry season.
Here are some of Kunene Conservation Committee working in an area where trees have naturally regenerated.
The chairman said, “Weeding is important so that trees do not become victims of wildfire. Here we have a very beautiful site of young trees. We shall continue to patrol our area to ensure that no trees are cut. We are planting more trees too.”
