We mentioned recently that our teams support new households to build a fuel-efficient cookstove and for these three houses we did the same but with a slightly altered design.
The Changu Changu Moto is designed for a householder to be able to cook two things at once. However, an exception was made for the Gumulani family as three households share one kitchen.
There isn’t the space for each house to have their own kitchen so instead, they share one so the extra opening on the fuel-efficient cookstove will help prepare food for everyone at the same time.
