It’s the start of our annual Ripple Africa Week, a week to celebrate our Early Years and School Meals education project that we run in Malawi, and an opportunity to thank schools that raise money to support this project.
If you didn’t already know, we run eight pre-schools and welcome over 900 children aged two to six every day. The morning consists of lessons to learn to learn numbers, alphabet, colours, shapes and much more, as well as an opportunity to read, play, sing and dance.
As you can see in the video, it’s not just the children that enjoy the singing and dancing but the teachers too. We employ 27 enthusiastic local teachers who ensure that the children in their care receive the best start in life.
Our campaign aims to fund the 150,000 school meals we provide a year whilst providing an early years education.
How can you help? For every £1 raised, a child benefits from an education and school meals for a week. So why not swap that takeaway coffee today and impact a child’s life: https://rippleafrica.org/school-meals/
