Over the past three months the builders and their teams have been busy digging and building new toilets and washrooms at Kapanda Community Day Secondary School.
The school has received four new toilet blocks – each block consists of one female and one male toilet. The teachers and pupils alike have welcomed the new facilities as 250 day school students were sharing eight toilets before.
At the girls dormitory we have built two new toilet blocks and four washrooms. The headteacher said the girls are no longer late for their first lesson of the day as there are adequate facilities for them all together washed and ready in the morning. Previously more than 60 girls were sharing just four toilets and four washrooms.
