Youngsters pick things up really quickly and the pupils at Mwaya Primary School in Malawi are no different.
They have really enjoyed putting into practice what they have learnt and love the hands-on lessons on pruning, composting and mulching and are really caring for their fruit trees.
Maston, who is part of the fruit tree nursery team said, “Learners are able to do their orchard activities of caring for the fruit trees. They are good at pruning trees which allows the tree to grow.”
