Maston, our Fruit Tree Project Manager is very happy. He said, “We are happy to share the news that most of our fruit trees we planted last year have started flowering. This makes it 10 months from the date of planting to flowering and soon the trees will start bearing fruit. This is encouraging to the local farmers as most of them expected it to take five years for fruit trees to start flowering.”
Maston not only helps the community clubs to sow fruit tree seeds and raise seedlings but teaches them how to care for them, to make manure and natural fertiliser, to identify any pests and diseases and so much more.
This approach ensures the community are able to successfully grow fruit trees that bear fruit!
