It’s World Teacher Day and we are proud to support primary schools in Malawi by providing experienced trainee teachers to help reduce class sizes and in some cases, provide a class with a teacher full stop.
At present we fund four teachers who are at four of the schools we work with in rural Malawi.
One of the headteachers said, “They are called trainee teachers but they have been with us for a number of years now, it is like they are a teacher. They have a wealth of knowledge and we really value their experience and abilities. They make a real difference to our students.”
