Our tree planting team are hitting milestones as they help the tree farmers to plant out their seedlings. With around two million seedlings being planted out, they have hit the 40% planted mark – that’s 800,000 tree seedlings!
The rainy season started later in December and the rains are crucial to plant out at the right time. The team are optimistic though to be finished by the end of February-March time.
This is James. He has 2,000 seedlings and so far has planted half of them. He said, “I am happy to plant trees as I want to reduce deforestation.”
